Talia Wamflash, LMSW
I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and interdisciplinary perspective. My primary goal in working with any client is to create a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I have been trained in motivational interviewing, mindfulness and restorative justice practices. I tailor my approach to the specific needs of the client I am working with--often bringing in somatic exercises and cognitive behavioral therapy tools.
With over ten years of experience working with adults, teenagers, and families from a diverse range of backgrounds and identities, I specialize in supporting non-profit professionals and mental health providers who are seeking a space to process workplace stressors, vicarious trauma, and burnout.
I have a master’s in social work from Hunter College and received a BA from Brandeis University.
