Emily Schuback, LMSW
Emily views psychotherapy as a relational experience; one that facilitates emotional and behavioral growth and supports a deep,
connected relationship between therapist and client. She strives to help clients develop coping skills to reach their desired goals, as well as gain a deeper understanding of themselves.
She utilizes a psychodynamic
approach with her clients, while also drawing from CBT and psychoanalytic frameworks. Emily has worked with adolescents and adults of all ages in clinic, school and hospital settings in areas of anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life transitions.
Emily has a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Family Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. She also has training in the specialized treatment of the LGBTQ community.
