Colette Pauta, BA
Colette Pauta is a graduate student studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. She is an alumna of New York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Colette works with adults of all ages, ranging from early to late adulthood. Specialties include anxiety, depression, relationships, life changes, eating disorders/body image, stress and mindfulness.
Drawing from a multitude of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, acceptance and commitment based therapy (ACT), as well as existential therapy, Colette works to tailor her approach to meet the needs of each specific client. She strives to empower her clients to find meaning in their lives, embrace their authentic selves, and foster psychological flexibility. By guiding individuals through their unique challenges and supporting them in the radical acceptance of their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, she helps them commit to actions aligned with their values, promoting personal growth and well-being.
